After 12 months a time frame for the fix is more that needed.Īfter this bad experience I will stay away from manufacturers that use Synaptic hardware of any kind. I can understand that an issue needs troubleshooting.but when it's an acknowledged one like this, one should ask if Synaptic-Conexant has interest in supporting their audio business. Sooner or later Microsoft will drop support for Windows. It seems to me incredible that Synaptic-Conexant is still silent about this issue, damaging OEM customers around the world. ![]() I'm two major Windows 10 version behind due to this issue and more than an year have passed. As many of us know, Conexant audio based chipset PCs around the world can't update to Windnor 20H2 due to acknowledge issues in Conexant audio driver that needs to be fixed.
